Tobacco Settlement Unit

In 1998, the State of Wyoming entered into the Master Settlement Agreement (MSA). As a result of this landmark agreement, the Office of the Attorney General was faced with new challenges and obligations. Thus, in concert with the Wyoming Department of Health, Substance Abuse Division , the Attorney General's Office created the Tobacco Settlement Unit (Unit). Today, the Unit works to enforce the terms of the MSA, the Smokeless Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement and related provisions of State law.
