Wyoming Attorney General

Tort Litigation Division

Welcome to the Wyoming Attorney General's Tort Litigation Division.

The Litigation Division consists of three sections: tort and civil rights litigation defense, state employment, and state personnel matters. The litigation section defends civil lawsuits against the state, its officers and employees, and all state and local peace officers. The employment section represents the Department of Employment and all its divisions, including Worker's Compensation. The personnel section advises and represents state administrators and human resource personnel on all aspects of personnel matters under state and federal law. Each section provides training to its clients to prevent losses and reduce risks.
