Wyoming Attorney General Patrick J. Crank
Appointed: 2002
Patrick J. Crank was appointed as Wyoming’s 33rd Attorney General in 2002. Prior to his appointment, Pat served as the Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Wyoming from 1990 to 2002. From 1987 to 1990, he was Natrona County Assistant District Attorney in Casper, Wyoming, and in 1985-1986, he served as an assistant attorney general in the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office.
Pat graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, Wyoming, in 1978, received an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Wyoming in 1982, and graduated from the University of Wyoming Law School in 1985. While at the University of Wyoming Law School, Pat served on the Editorial Board of the Land and Water Review.
Pat and his wife, Anna, live in Cheyenne. His hobbies and interests include hunting, fishing, camping, and his four children.
